Judo Koroška is a joint brand of judo clubs active in Koroška region, Slovenia. The Judo Federation of Koroška connects the judo community in the region and strives to the progress of judo and its values. Founded in 2007, the federation today connects four clubs – Judo Club Acron Slovenj Gradec, Judo Club Ravne na Koroškem, Judo Club Dravograd, and Judo Club Muta.
The clubs under the auspices of the Judo Federation of Koroška follow a joint strategy of development and its annual programmes. Altogether around 500 judoka of all ages are practicing judo in 15 primary schools in the region and the two dojos in Ravne na Koroškem and Slovenj Gradec. Courses for preschoolers, advanced classes for higher kyu belts, recreational programmes for adults, and kata courses are also offered. The Slovenj Gradec dojo is the regional center for competitive judo from 14 years of age to seniors.
The federation coordinates activities between the member clubs, staff development, and public relations. It helps develop, coordinate and manage larger projects, develops new training programmes, and performs administrative tasks for its members.
